The women of slum at Nizamudin Basti are involved in manufacturing of embroidered items like bed sheets, covers, t-shirts etc. Due to lack of marketing knowledge, the women are not able to sell the items and thus incurring losses.
Samanvay members along with European students tried to help the women to get knowledge of customer’s preference, color combination, latest design pattern that are fruitful for sales in European and domestic market. We also tried to incsorporate managerial skills in order to enhance the production of goods at commercial scale.
